1/24/10: Playing with RSS
I spend too much time looking for updates to the two wikis I'm involved with plus the 3 NINGS. I don't follow education-related blogs or websites and want to. RSS will bring it all to my Google Reader or my iGoogle homepage. Easy! I'm trying to link a favorite video from Common Craft that explains RSS so simply and succinctly. Why RSS? I tried this link and had to leave my blog and had a hard time getting back. Can I embed the code for the video so that I don't have to leave blogger?
I've been reading the blogs from Classroom 2.0. Another student has found the front pages of several newspapers in the USA. I had not imagined this "news at a glance" for where you are interested. Check it out!
I've added more RSS feeds to my iGoogle page. I understand that if I add them to my Google reader instead, they will automatically be put on iGoogle. It doesn't work the other way (If RSS feed put onto iGoogle, it won't end up on Googlereader).
